Our History

Anderson’s Residential Heating & AC, Inc. has been a family-owned business since its inception. Whether it’s the original Anderson family owning the business or employees that have bought into the business. Family has always been involved.

The original Anderson founder opened NE Sheet Metal in the early 70’s. When the dad decided to take a step back in the early 90’s, his sons purchased the business and changed the name to Anderson’s Residential Heating & AC, Inc., to better describe what they did. After taking a step back, “old man Anderson” continued to work with us for a long time.

In the mid-90s, George, a longtime employee, bought out one of the sons and continued to work with the other. In the late 90s, George bought out the other son and brought in his wife, Cheryl. That son continued working with us for many years. When George retired, Cheryl became the sole owner and changed the name to Anderson’s Residential Heating & AC, Inc.

Come 2021, Patty Nelson and Doug Mueller became the newest owners and continue to have the same name. Patty started in 1987 at NE Sheet Metal and has remained through ownership and name changes. Doug is George and Cheryl’s son, started as a teenager, and is continuing the family tradition.

HVAC Services You Can Trust

Our residential heating business includes furnace maintenance, installation, and repairs. If you own a gas furnace, your unit should be inspected and maintained before each heating season. Regular heating equipment maintenance ensures that the unit will continue to operate as expected and keep your family warm during those cold winter nights.

Our air conditioning services include sales, installation, maintenance, and repair of all makes and models of cooling units. We also sell, install, and maintain whole-house humidifiers and air purification systems.

In addition to residential AC and furnace installations, Anderson’s Residential Heating & AC, Inc. provides annual maintenance services for all HVAC equipment. During a yearly maintenance visit, an HVAC technician will inspect and tune your unit to ensure the system is energy-efficient and performs at its best throughout its lifespan.

Our offices are at 1634 County Hwy 10 #2 Spring Lake Park MN 55432. Our regular office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM.
